The first thing 21bit.com does is redirect to 21bit24.com, and the second thing the new address tells you, in the footer, is that the operator is Novatrix SRL of Costa Rica under “E-gaming license No. 0000002 issued by Tobique Gaming Commission”. Not Curaçao, not Dama N.V., whatever older reviews say. The Tobique Gaming Commission’s licence-holder list does show Novatrix S.R.L with a B2C licence expiring 13 March 2027, but the register carries no licence numbers and no domains, so the site cannot be tied to the entry. That is the level of assurance you are buying.

Licence and who runs it
The Tobique Gaming Commission is a First Nation regulator in New Brunswick, Canada, and in 2025 and 2026 it became the licence of choice for operators leaving the Curaçao regime. Its public register is a single table of company names, expiry dates and B2B or B2C flags. There is no licence number, no domain list, no sanctions page and no player-dispute process visible on the register page. 21Bit’s terms, last updated 27 February 2026, repeat the licence number and add the company’s address in Cartago province.
What that means in practice: if 21Bit refuses a withdrawal and its own support team will not move, an Irish player has no EU regulator, no Irish regulator, and a Canadian commission whose complaints route could not be found on its website during this check. The Gambling Regulation Act 2024 gives the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland power to fine unlicensed operators up to €20 million, and online casino licensing is expected to begin in 2027; a Costa Rican company on a Tobique licence would need to apply or leave. Until then, you are relying on the operator’s reputation.
Who is behind the operator is murkier than the footer. AskGamblers’ company page says Novatrix “acquired most of its casinos following the restructuring of Dama NV”, and third-party lists group 21Bit with Oshi, BitKingz, GetSlots, Spin Samurai and forty-odd other brands. Dama N.V. is the Curaçao operator that a Curaçao court declared bankrupt in June 2024 over more than €800,000 in unpaid player claims, a ruling reversed in August 2024, according to Casino Life Magazine. None of that is on 21Bit’s site, which lists no sister brands at all, and no formal corporate link between Dama and Novatrix has been confirmed by either company. It is context, not proof, and it is the reason this review’s rating is what it is.
Games and providers
The library is the strong suit. The homepage claims more than 3,000 games and names Hacksaw, Novomatic, BGaming, Evolution, Endorphina, Thunderkick, 3 Oaks, Pragmatic Play, Spinomenal, Betsoft, Booming Games, Spribe and Mancala. The live section runs on Pragmatic Play Live, Evolution, Winfinity, Platipus and ICONIC21, which is a wider live line-up than most MGA sites offer. Spribe’s Aviator and the crash-game genre are here, as you would expect from a crypto-leaning brand, and Novomatic’s Book of Ra series is a rarity for a site open to Irish players.
Note that the terms also say some games may be unavailable in certain countries due to provider restrictions and that using a VPN to get round that can forfeit winnings. Which studios are switched off for Ireland could not be established without an account.
The site claims 24/7 support by live chat and email. AskGamblers lists “limited live chat hours” as a drawback. Both could be true at different hours of the day.
Bonuses and the terms that matter
The homepage seen for this review was served in New Zealand dollars, and it showed two welcome headlines on the same page, one for a package with 100 free spins and a larger one with 250. The euro figures in an Irish account were not seen, so no amounts are given here. The bonus terms were legible and they are the part that matters: wagering of 45 times the bonus, a seven-day validity, a maximum bet while wagering of NZ$7.50 in the version seen (expect a similar figure in euro), free spins with no wagering but a low cap on what can be withdrawn from them, and an exclusion of Skrill and Neteller deposits from the welcome offer. One bonus per person, household, IP address and device.
45x is heavy. A €100 bonus needs €4,500 of slot turnover in seven days at a few euro a spin. The weekend reload carries the same 45x, the loyalty cashback runs weekly at 2% to 10% by rank with a low withdrawal cap, and the daily surprise spins need a minimum deposit and carry a maximum win. This is a promotions calendar built to keep you depositing, not to hand you money, and it should be read that way.
The rule that catches people has nothing to do with bonuses. Clause after clause of the general terms, every deposit must be wagered three times before a withdrawal can be requested. Deposit €200 to play blackjack for an evening, decide to stop after €150 of bets, and you cannot withdraw until you have staked another €450. Irish players used to MGA sites, where a deposit can be withdrawn untouched, should treat this as the single most important line in the document.
Deposits, withdrawals and how long they take
The methods visible on the site were cards, MiFinity, bank transfer and cryptocurrency (BTC, BCH, LTC, DOGE, ETH, USDT, TRX, BNB, XRP). AskGamblers adds Skrill, Neteller and Paysafecard among “30+” options. Revolut is not named. A Revolut debit card would be entered as a Visa or Mastercard; credit cards are banned for Irish gambling deposits under the 2024 Act in any case, so the site’s “credit cards” label means your debit card.
Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal are both €20. Withdrawals are processed within 72 hours of approval, and the FAQ says approved cashouts are forwarded to the payment provider at once. The caps are €1,000 a day, €5,000 a week and €15,000 a month, which means a €10,000 win takes at least two weeks to leave the site and gives the operator two weeks of opportunities to ask for another document. KYC requires photo ID, proof of address and verification of the payment method, and withdrawals sit pending until all three are accepted.

The Trustpilot profile is small and unusually well tended: 138 reviews, a TrustScore of 4.3, 63% five-star against 25% one-star, claimed since October 2023, and replies to 100% of negative reviews, typically within a week. The most recent review at the time of checking was dated 31 August 2026. Positive reviews cluster around game variety, responsive support and payouts arriving quickly once verification cleared. The one-star quarter describes withdrawal requests cancelled and re-submitted, delays past the 72-hour promise, trouble closing an account, and support giving different timings to different people.
AskGamblers rates 21Bit 6.1 out of 10 with a player rating of 2 from two reviews, names Novatrix SRL as operator and Tobique as licence, and records five complaints, three resolved, with a two-day average response. Casino Guru could not be opened for this review; its indexed listing shows an “Above average” 6.8, unverified. No boards.ie thread about 21Bit was found.
A 4.3 Trustpilot score on 138 reviews with every complaint answered is a better record than several MGA casinos in this series can show. It is also a record that a marketing team can build in three years with review invitations, and it says nothing about what happens when a dispute goes past the support desk.
Verdict
21Bit is for a specific Irish player: someone who deposits and withdraws in crypto or MiFinity, wants Novomatic, Spribe and a five-provider live room in one lobby, enjoys tournaments and reload promotions, and understands that a Tobique licence held by a Costa Rican company is a promise from the operator rather than protection from a regulator. For that player, at stakes where a €1,000 daily cap and a three-times-deposit rule are inconveniences rather than problems, 21Bit is a well-stocked, responsive site with a payment record that its Trustpilot page supports.
You should skip it if you want a regulator you can write to, if you would ever need to withdraw more than €5,000 in a week, if you play table games with cash and expect to withdraw an untouched deposit, or if the Dama N.V. history in the background is more than you want to think about.
