The Vault: free double-or-nothing game for XP

Stake an amount of your own earned XP to start. This game only ever risks XP you already hold, never anything else.

Each rung is a straight fifty-fifty: climb it and your staked pot doubles, or lose the flip and the whole pot is gone.

You can cash out after any successful climb, banking the current pot straight back into your XP balance and your place on the leaderboard.

Reach the top rung and the pot is at its maximum for that stake — there is nowhere further to climb.

There is no real money in the Vault in either direction. Only XP moves, and a bust costs exactly the XP you chose to risk, nothing more.

XP is the score kept on this site. It has no cash value, cannot be bought, cannot be exchanged for anything at any casino, and exists so that the daily, weekly and all-time tables on the leaderboard have something to rank. Every game on the free games shelf pays into the same balance, as do the trainers in the academy, the daily search bonus and the hidden hat.

The Vault pays XP for the events listed in the rules above and for nothing else. There is no return-to-player figure because there is no player money: the reels are tuned to be readable and fun, not to model any real slot, and nothing that happens here is a promise about how a real game behaves. Progress is saved in this browser under a ticket you name the first time XP is earned. Clear the browser and the ticket is gone, so keep the nickname somewhere. Balances sync to the table every few seconds while the tab is open, and a stake lost in the vault comes off the table like any other loss.
